Hiya! I’m Katie – historian, presenter, and full-time chatterer of shite from the past. You might know me as “The History Gossip”.

It all kicked off last year, in my final year at Durham Uni. I was studying Ancient History and Archaeology – but somewhere between essays and existential dread, I started whacking videos on TikTok. Next thing I knew, I had 700,000 followers across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, a bestselling book, and a nomination for TikTok’s Educator of the Year.

Now I’m doing my Master’s at Oxford (yes, really), juggling essays with filming, writing, and trying not to get cancelled for calling Henry VIII a fuggertron 5000.
